Cathay Life wrap up WBLA campaign with win over Surabaya

Cathay Life finished their Women’s Basketball League Asia campaign on a high note. They topped Surabaya Fever to improve at 2-1 record. Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-C-2005) posted 19 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Taiwanese team.
Surabaya eked out an 18-16 lead after ten minutes. Cathay Life went on an 18-10 run in the second term to secure a 34-28 halftime lead. Cathay Life extended the lead in the third term. The Taiwanese team entered the fourth period up by 14 points and protected the lead throughout the final stanza to race to the win. Pin Lo produced 11 points in the victory. Hannah Little (186-F-1994, college: Oakland) and Nathania Orville (176-SF-2000) chipped in 13 points each for Surabaya Fever.
