Sichuan stormed past Cathay Life to improve at 2-0 record at the Women’s Basketball League Asia. Siyu Wang (175-G-1995) scored 19 points to lead the Chinese team.
The teams were tied at 17 after ten minutes. Sichuan went on a 33-16 run in the second frame to gain a 17-point halftime lead. Sichuan extended the gap at 20-point mark at the final intermission. Cathay Life could not recover in the fourth period as Sichuan marched to the win. Xu Han (208-C-1999) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. I-Hsiu Cheng (178-SF-1993) answered with 12 points, while Pin Lo had 11 points in the losing case.
