New Taipei CTBC DEA (T1 League) signed 27-year-old American 193cm guard James Eads III (college: Tuskegee, agency: 011 Sports) for the upcoming season. He last played for NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz in the Hungarian A Division, where he averaged 12.9ppg, 2.6rpg, and 1.7apg in 37 games, helping them win the cup and reach the league final. In the 2022-23 season, he played for Sokol in the Polish league and previously for Wilki Morskie in the Polish league.
He has also played professionally in Poland (Twarde Pierniki) and Romania (Galati).
Eads graduated from Tuskegee University in 2020 and it'll be his fifth season in pro basketball.
