Davis' double-double lands him PLeague+ Player of the Week award

27-year old American power forward Deyonta Davis (211-PF-1996, agency: MSG) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hsinchu Lioneers and receives a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 19 rebounds, while his team beat Dreamers (#2, 24-16) 99-87. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Lioneers maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese PLeague+. Lioneers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 20-19 record. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Lioneers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michigan State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg and 66.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jason Washburn (213-C-1990, agency: Pensack Sports) of top-ranked Taoyuan Pilots. He is American-Bulgarian center in his second season at Pilots. In the last game Washburn recorded an impressive double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Pilots was edged by the lower-ranked Fubon Braves (#5, 18-22) 92-89. Pilots managed to keep the same 1st spot in the standings. His team has currently 26-14 record. Washburn is well-known at Pilots and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.9ppg (#4). He also registered 13.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Yu-Wei Chen (183-PG-1999) of Kaohsiung Steelers (#6). Chen showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. Despite Chen's great performance the Steelers lost 89-90 to the higher-ranked Pilots (#1, 26-14). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Steelers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 9-30 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Chen has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 38 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.1apg (3rd best).
