Cathay Life forced 19 Taipower turnovers. Australian center Cayla George (193-1989) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Meng-Xin Chen (163-1999) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Qin-Yu Huang produced 13 points and Wei-Qing Liao added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
