Kromah's 44-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old USA-LIB shooting guard Lasan Kromah (198-SG-1991) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Taiwan Beer Leopards and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had the game-high 44 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Taiwan Beer L. in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Tainan GH (#5, 7-18) 125-121. It allowed Leopards to take over top position in the Taiwanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Taiwan Beer L. has a very solid 16-9 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Kromah had a remarkable 65.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Leopards's top player in his first season with the team. University of Connecticut graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kromah is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.9ppg. Kromah is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.5apg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 52.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Egidijus Mockevicius (208-C-1992) of Tainan GhostHawks. He is Lithuanian center in his first season at Tainan GH. In the last game Mockevicius recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as GhostHawks was edged by the higher-ranked Taiwan Beer L. (#1, 16-9) 125-121. Tainan are still at the very bottom. 18 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories GhostHawks managed to get this year. Mockevicius is a newcomer at Tainan and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Taiwan Beer L.'s star - center Devin Williams (206-C-1994). Williams scored 23 points and grabbed 19 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Taiwan Beer Leopards, helping his team with a 125-121 win against the lower-ranked Tainan GH (#5, 7-18). Leopards confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 9 lost games. Williams has a great season in Taiwan. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.5ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 16.5rpg (#1 in league).
