Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The biggest surprise of round 9 was guest Yulon Luxgen's (#2) road victory over Bank of Taiwan (#3) 84-77 on Sunday evening. 28 personal fouls committed by Bank of Taiwan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Brandon Moss (207-1994, college: LSUA) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 18 rebounds. Guard Yi-Fan Wang (173-2000) chipped in 9 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian forward Maurice Calloo (208-1999, college: Oregon St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains second place with 14-13 record having five points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 14 games lost. Yulon Luxgen are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Changhua (#4) on the road in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play again against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a loss of third ranked Bank of Taiwan (13-14) against fourth ranked Changhua (8-19) on Saturday night. Bank of Taiwan was crushed by Changhua 76-54. It was a good game for forward Han Kuo (195-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir contributed with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jyun-Hao Lin (193-1998) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds for Bank of Taiwan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Changhua maintains fourth place with 8-19 record. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 14 games lost. Changhua will play against league's leader Taiwan Beer in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Tien-You Yang (170-1993) chipped in 16 points. The best for the losing side was Canadian forward Maurice Calloo (208-1999, college: Oregon St.) with 30 points and the former international swingman Yu-Hsu Chen (195-1990) scored 20 points. Changhua - Yulon Luxgen 71-97

There was no surprise when 4th placed Changhua (8-19) was crushed by second ranked Yulon Luxgen (14-13) 97-71 on Friday. Yulon Luxgen outrebounded Changhua 47-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Changhua's players. American Brandon Moss (207-1994, college: LSUA) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and Cheng-En Kao (178-1999) chipped in 16 points. Five Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Mongolian guard Cheng-An Hsieh (191-2000) with 11 points and center Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir (200-1999) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains second place with 14-13 record having five points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Changhua at the other side stay at the bottom position with 19 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet Bank of Taiwan (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Changhua will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer in Taipei and hope to secure a win.

Very important is a loss of third ranked Bank of Taiwan (13-14) against fourth ranked Changhua (8-19) on Saturday night. Bank of Taiwan was crushed by Changhua 76-54.
