Lasan Kromah gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese T1 League (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-SG-1991) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's second-best Taiwan Beer Leopards and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 32-year old shooting guard had a double-double of 29 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Tainan GH (#5, 7-16) with 20-point margin 105-85. Leopards maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese T1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Taiwan Beer L. will need more victories to improve their 14-9 record. In the team's last game Kromah had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Leopards's top player in his first season with the team. University of Connecticut graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kromah is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.1ppg. Kromah is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 8.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.6apg) and averages solid 3.1spg and 51.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius (208-C-1992) of Tainan GhostHawks. Mockevicius impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds. It was enough for GhostHawks to edge slightly higher-ranked Taipei TM (#4, 8-15) by 3 points 109-106. Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-16 record. Mockevicius is a newcomer at Tainan and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-PF-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) of top-ranked New Taipei CTBC DEA. Zelionis scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of N.Taipei CTBC, leading his team to a 108-93 easy win against #3 ranked Kaohsiung A. in a game of the week. N.Taipei CTBC confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 8 lost games. Zelionis has a very solid season. In 11 games in Taiwan he scored 20.1ppg. He also has 10.0rpg and a FGP of 70.8%.
