Taiyuan Textile sign Yemiyah Morris, ex E.Ramla

Yemiyah Morris

Taiyuan Textile (WSBL) has signed 25-year-old American center Yemiyah Morris, who stands at 198cm tall and played college basketball at WVU. Morris, who recently played for E.Ramla in the Israeli D1 league, averaged 11.3ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.7bpg in 6 games last season. She also has experience playing for DSK Levhartice Chomutov in the Czech Republic league, where she averaged 6.0ppg, 7.2rpg, and 1.6bpg in 10 games. She joins fellow American player Pei-Xin Song on the Taiyuan Textile roster.
She represented the USA at the World University Games in Napoli, Italy five years ago. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 5 games: 8.8ppg, 8.6rpg, FGP: 29.4%, FT: 33.3%.
She has also played professionally in Greece (Dafni Agioy) and Turkey (Elazig Il).
She played in the final of the SEC Tournament in 2020.
She graduated from West Virginia University in 2022 and it's her second season in pro basketball. She played for other colleges like Mississippi State University and Cochise College.
