Chen number one in Taiwan WSBL for round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Yatong Chen had a great game in the last round for Chunghua Telecom, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The player was the main contributor (9 points, eleven rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Cathay Life (#2, 7-5) 70-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Chunghwa Telecom maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese WSBL. Chunghua T. is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 4-8 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Chen as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Yatong Chen has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 4.6ppg), rebounds (7th best: 4.0rpg), assists (3rd best: 1.2apg) and averages impressive 1.6bpg and 55.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young international forward Ling-Chuan Huang (175-F-1994) of league's second-best Cathay Life Tigers. Huang had a very good evening with 20 points. Of course Cathay Life cruised to a 80-69 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Taiyuan T. (#1, 11-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Cathay Life consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 7-5 record is not bad at all. Huang is one of the most experienced players at Cathay Life and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 10.4ppg (#8).

Third on the list of top players last round was another Cathay Life's star - international guard Yu-Chun Chen (176-SG-1987). Chen scored 18 points. She was another key player of Cathay Life Tigers, helping her team with a 80-69 win against #1 ranked Taiyuan T.. Cathay Life needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Chen has a great season in Taiwan. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 3.4ppg (5th best), rebounds with 2.0rpg (7th best) and assists with 0.3apg (3rd best).
