Williams number one in Taiwan T1 League for round 11

American Center Devin Williams (206-C-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Taiwan Beer Leopards, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 33 rebounds, while his team outclassed Tainan GH (#5, 3-11) with 26-point margin 114-88. It allowed Leopards to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese T1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Taiwan Beer L. has a very solid 11-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Williams turned to be Leopards's top player in his first season with the team. Former West Virginia University star has very solid stats this year. Williams leads league in rebounds with 17.4rpg. Williams is in league's top in and averages impressive 54.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lithuanian Mindaugas Kupsas (216-C-1991, agency: BIG) of Kaohsiung Aquas. Kupsas had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Aquas cruised to a 108-101 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Taiwan Beer L. (#1, 11-5). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Kaohsiung A. consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Kupsas is one of the most experienced players at Kaohsiung A. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.7ppg (#5). He also registered 9.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Taiwan Beer L.'s star - American DeMarcus Cousins (211-C/F-1990). Cousins got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds and five assists. He was another key player of Taiwan Beer Leopards, helping his team with a 114-88 easy win against the lower-ranked Tainan GH (#5, 3-11). Leopards confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 5 lost games. Cousins has a very solid season. In 4 games in Taiwan he scored 22.0ppg.
