The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Cathay Life against Taiyuan Textile on Friday night. Taiyuan Textile were defeated by Taiyuan Textile 75-63. Taiyuan T. forced 19 Cathay Life turnovers. International center Tieh Lin (182-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Ying-Li Huang (170-1989) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side Yu-Wen Xiao responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
