Every week we bring you a list of the top former Wesmen players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Spas Nikolov (6'10''-C-1997, played in 2021-22, plays pro in Spain) led Huerva to a victory over the tenth-ranked Salt (1-3) 85-81 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) in Saturday night's game.
He was MVP of the game. Nikolov scored 20 points, had 9 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 5 blocks in 37 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. CB Cuarte de Huerva (3-1) is placed fourth in Group C-A.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Nikolov has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages 16.0ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.8apg and 2.0bpg in four games he played so far.
