Slovakia - Chinese Taipei 61-69

Chinese Taipei outscored Slovakia 69-61 in Chengdu at the World University Games. The Asian side improved to a 2-0 record on Saturday. Both teams nailed 15 points each in the opening period and then European representative grabbed a 2-point halftime advantage. The third quarter was decisive in the game as Chinese Taipei erupted with a 24-12 surge to seal the win. Lin Tieh (182-C-1999) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Lo Pin (168-PG-1996) had 13. Sona Svetlikova (184-C-1999) ended up with 20 points in the losing case and Zuzana Vargova (184-F-2002) produced 12.
