The former international swingman Yu-Ting Lin (179-1994) stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international Yi-Xiu Zheng (178-1993) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Cathay Life players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Ying-Chieh Wu (179-1992) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
