Pan's 15 points and 6 assists give her Player of the Week award

30-year old guard Szu-Chin Pan (170-G-1992) had a great game in the last round for Chunghua T. and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
She had the game-high 15 points adding four rebounds and six assists for Chunghua T. in her team's victory, helping them to beat Taipower (#4, 2-22) 83-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Chunghua T. maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese WSBL. Chunghua T. is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 8-16 record. Pan has many years of experience at Chunghua T., through which she has constantly improved. Pan has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in assists (5th best: 3.5apg).

Second best performed player last round was Wei-An Chen (177-PF-1995) of top-ranked Cathay Life. She is international forward in her 4th season at Cathay Life. In the last game Chen recorded impressive 25 points and 3 rebounds. Bad luck as Cathay Life lost that game 76-82 to slightly lower-ranked Taiyuan T. (#2, 18-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Cathay Life still maintains its place as the top team in the standings, even despite this loss. It was just her team's 4th loss this season, while they won 20 other games. Chen is one of the most experienced players at Cathay Life and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 9.4ppg (#8).

Third place about best performers goes to another Cathay Life's star - Yi-Xiu Zheng (178-SF-1993). Zheng showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Zheng's great performance Cathay Life lost 76-82 to #2 ranked Taiyuan T.. But her team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Cathay Life had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 4th lost game is hopefully really an accident. Zheng's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Zheng has a great season in Taiwan. After 24 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.5ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.5rpg (2nd best).
