Qualls number one in Taiwan T1 League for round 40 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for TB Herobears, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 40.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 37 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Kaohsiung A. (14-14) 99-87. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. TB Herobears maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese T1 League. TB Herobears is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-14 record. In the team's last game Qualls had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at TB Herobears, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michael Qualls averages this season 31.2ppg and 10.6rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Indian Sim Bhullar (226-C-1992) of league's second-best Tainan GH. Bhullar had a very good evening with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Tainan GH cruised to a 92-84 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Taoyuan L. (#6, 6-22). Tainan GH's second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 18-9 record is not bad at all. Bhullar is a newcomer at Tainan GH, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#9). He also registered 12.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tainan GH's star - American center Robert Upshaw (213-C-1994). Upshaw scored 24 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Tainan GH, helping his team with a 92-84 win against the lower-ranked Taoyuan L. (#6, 6-22). Tainan GH needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 9 lost games. Upshaw has a great season in Taiwan. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.7ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.5bpg and FGP: 50.8%.
