Rice's 52-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

30-year old guard Rayvonte Rice (193-G-1992) had a great game in the last round for Taichung Suns and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 39.
He had the game-high 52 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Taichung Suns in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Taoyuan L. (#6, 6-22) 97-93. Taichung Suns maintains the 5th position in Taiwanese league. Taichung Suns is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 8-18 record. In the team's last game Rice had a remarkable nine three-pointers out of 13 attempts. He just recently signed at Taichung Suns, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Illinois graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rice is league's best scorer averaging so far 31.8ppg. Rice is in league's top in and averages solid 2.5spg.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) of TB Herobears. He is American guard in his first season at TB Herobears. In the last game Qualls recorded impressive double-double of 34 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led TB Herobears to another comfortable win 112-96 over the higher-ranked N.Taipei CTBC (#1, 22-5) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. TB Herobears consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team's 14-14 record is not bad at all. Qualls is one of the most experienced players at TB Herobears and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Deyonta Davis (211-PF-1996, agency: MSG) of Taoyuan L. (#6). Davis scored 26 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Davis' great performance Taoyuan L. lost 93-97 to slightly higher-ranked Taichung Suns (#5, 8-18). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Taoyuan L. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 6-22 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Davis has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.0rpg (9th best). He also has 2.1bpg and FGP: 63.0%.
