Michael Qualls' triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Guard Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for TB Herobears, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 37.
The 28-year old player recorded a triple-double of 33 points adding also 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Taoyuan L. (#6, 6-19) with 25-point margin 117-92. TB Herobears maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese T1 League. TB Herobears is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-14 record. In the team's last game Qualls had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at TB Herobears, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michael Qualls averages this season 32.5ppg and 9.2rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Maltese Samuel Deguara (230-C-1991) of league's second-best Tainan GH. Deguara had a very good evening with a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Tainan GH to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Taichung Suns (#5, 7-18) 118-97. Tainan GH's second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 17-9 record is not bad at all. Deguara is a newcomer at Tainan GH, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.1ppg (#6). He also registered 11.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tainan GH's star - Indian center Sim Bhullar (226-C-1992). Bhullar scored 12 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Tainan GH, helping his team with a 118-97 easy win against the lower-ranked Taichung Suns (#5, 7-18). Tainan GH needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 17 victories and 9 lost games. Bhullar has a great season in Taiwan. After 19 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.8ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 12.9rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.6bpg and FGP: 68.2%.
