T1 League Round 35: No surprise as #1 N.Taipei CTBC defeat Suns

The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

T1 League top team - N.Taipei CTBC (20-4) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Suns (6-17) 112-93. N.Taipei CTBC forced 22 Suns turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Suns' players. It was a great evening for American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Croatian center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: 011 Sports) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. American center Arnett Moultrie (208-1990, college: MSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. N.Taipei CTBC have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-4 record. Suns lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Taoyuan L.. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Suns will play on the road against Leopards (#6) in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Taoyuan was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Aquas (14-12) played at the court of 6th ranked Leopards (6-17). Aquas defeated Leopards 106-93. It was an exceptional evening for American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Xavier Alexander accounted for 24 points and 12 rebounds. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds for Leopards in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third place with 14-12 record having four points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Leopards at the other side stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. They share it with Taichung Suns. Aquas will play against league's second-placed GhostHawks in Tainan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leopards will play at home against Suns (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.



Taoyuan L. - Kaohsiung A. 93-106

The game in Taoyuan was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Aquas (14-12) played at the court of 6th ranked Leopards (6-17). Aquas defeated Leopards 106-93. Leopards were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. American forward Xavier Alexander (196-1988, college: S.Nazarene) accounted for 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side.
