Michael Efevberha gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese T1 League (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Nigerian-American Michael Efevberha (195-G-1984) put on an amazing game in the last round for Taoyuan L. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 38-year old guard had the game-high 38 points adding nine rebounds and three assists for Taoyuan L. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Kaohsiung A. (#3, 13-12) 90-82. Taoyuan L. maintains the 6th position in Taiwanese T1 League. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Taoyuan L. have already lost 16 games and recorded just five victories. In the team's last game Efevberha had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Taoyuan L.'s top player in his first season with the team. California State University Northridge graduate has very impressive stats this year. Efevberha is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.1ppg. Efevberha is in league's top in assists (9th best: 4.0apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Arnett Moultrie (208-C-1990) of Taichung Suns. Moultrie impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Taichung Suns was edged by the higher-ranked Tainan GH (#2, 15-8) 93-91. Taichung Suns managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Taichung Suns managed to get this year. Moultrie is a newcomer at Taichung Suns and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Indian Sim Bhullar (226-C-1992) of second-ranked Tainan GH. Bhullar scored 19 points and grabbed eighteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Tainan GH, leading his team to a 93-91 win against the lower-ranked Taichung Suns (#5, 6-16). Tainan GH needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 8 lost games. Bhullar has a great season in Taiwan. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 12.9rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.8bpg and FGP: 68.1%.
