Qualls number one in Taiwan T1 League for round 31 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Michael Qualls (197-G-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for TB Herobears, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 39 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Taoyuan L. (#6, 4-15) 110-95. TB Herobears maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese T1 League. TB Herobears is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-12 record. In the team's last game Qualls had a remarkable seven three-pointers out of 13 attempts. He just recently signed at TB Herobears, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Michael Qualls averages just after three games 32.7ppg and 8.7rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Dwight Howard (211-C-1985) of Taoyuan L.. Howard had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 27 rebounds. Bad luck as Taoyuan L. lost that game 95-110 to slightly higher-ranked TB Herobears (#4, 10-12). Taoyuan L. are still at the very bottom. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Taoyuan L. managed to get this year. Howard is a newcomer at Taoyuan L., but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.4ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 17.2rpg and 5.6apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was Indian center Sim Bhullar (226-C-1992) of league's second-best Tainan GH. Bhullar scored 22 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Tainan GH, leading his team to a 106-94 win against #3 ranked Kaohsiung A. in a game of the week. Tainan GH needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 14 victories and 8 lost games. Bhullar has a great season in Taiwan. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 12.6rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.7bpg and FGP: 69.2%.
