T1 League Round 30: Top-ranked N.Taipei CTBC win another game

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

T1 League top team - N.Taipei CTBC (17-4) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Leopards (4-14) in Taoyuan 89-79. N.Taipei CTBC forced 22 Leopards turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 14 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-1984, college: CSUN) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for Leopards. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. N.Taipei CTBC have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-4 record. Leopards lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Leopards will play at home against TB Herobears (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 30 Taichung Suns were beaten by Kaohsiung A. 97-92.
The most impressive performance of 30th round was 25 points and 16 rebounds by Mindaugas Kupsas of Kaohsiung A..

Kaohsiung A. - Taichung Suns 97-92

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Aquas (13-10) beat 5th ranked Suns (6-14) 97-92 on Saturday. Aquas looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Suns' players. It was a good game for Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds. American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 17 assists for the winners. American center Keith Benson (211-1988, college: Oakland) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds and guard Cheng-Han Yang (186-1999) added 19 points in the effort for Suns. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains third position with 13-10 record having two points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Suns lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 14 games lost. Aquas are looking forward to face league's second-placed GhostHawks in Tainan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Suns will have a break next round.
