King's 27 points and 7 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

27-year old forward Nick King (201-F-1995) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team N.Taipei CTBC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had the game-high 27 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for N.Taipei CTBC in his team's victory, helping them to beat Taoyuan L. (#6, 4-12) 102-95. It allowed N.Taipei CTBC to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. N.Taipei CTBC has a very solid 14-4 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game King had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at N.Taipei CTBC, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Nick King averages this season 30.8ppg and 7.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Dwight Howard (211-C-1985) of Taoyuan L.. He is American center in his first season at Taoyuan L.. In the last game Howard recorded impressive double-double of 36 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Taoyuan L. lost that game 95-102 to the higher-ranked N.Taipei CTBC (#1, 14-4). Taoyuan L. are still at the very bottom. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Taoyuan L. managed to get this year. Howard is a newcomer at Taoyuan L. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.6ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 14.4rpg and 6.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Rayvonte Rice (193-G-1992) of Taichung Suns (#5). Rice got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and four assists. Despite Rice's great performance Taichung Suns lost 91-97 to slightly higher-ranked TB Herobears (#4, 9-10). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Taichung Suns not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 12 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Rice could try to bring Taichung Suns' a little bit higher in the standings. Rice has a very solid season. In 4 games in Taiwan he scored 31.3ppg.
