An interesting game for N.Taipei CTBC (12-4) which played against second-ranked Aquas (11-7). First ranked N.Taipei CTBC managed to get a 11-point victory 88-77. N.Taipei CTBC looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Jordanian-American center John Bohannon (211-1991, college: UTEP) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks for Aquas. Aquas' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. N.Taipei CTBC have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-4 record. Defending champion Aquas keep the second position with seven games lost. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aquas will play at home against Leopards and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

In the last game of round 23 Taichung Suns beat TB Herobears 95-90.
The most impressive performance of 23th round was 46 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds by Rayvonte Rice of Taichung Suns.

TB Herobears - Taichung Suns 90-95

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Suns (6-9) beat 4th placed TB Herobears (7-9) 95-90 on Saturday. Suns forced 26 TB Herobears turnovers. American guard Rayvonte Rice (193-1992, college: Illinois, agency: MSG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 46 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import Marlon Johnson (208-1994, college: NMHU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five Suns players scored in double figures. Suns' coach Christian Gavina used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Branden Dawson (200-1993, college: Michigan St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and Serbian center Milenko Veljkovic (218-1995) added 14 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for TB Herobears. Suns maintains fifth place with 6-9 record. TB Herobears lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Suns will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. TB Herobears will play at home against GhostHawks (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
