Dreamers land Ilkan Karaman, ex Manisa

Taishin-Dreamers (PLeague+) tabbed 32-year old Turk ex-international 205cm power forward Ilkan Karaman, agency: Octagon Europe. Karaman played recently at Manisa Buyuksehir Belediye in Turkish BSL league.
In 2012 he was drafted by Brooklyn Nets (NBA) in second round (57th overall).
He was a member of Turkish international program for some years. Karaman was called to Turkish Senior National Team between 2012 and 2013 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2010.
He has played previously professionally also in France (Olympique Antibes and Cholet Basket) and Turkey (Tofas, Pinar Karsiyaka, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and ITU Istanbul).
Karaman played in the final of Turkish League in 2017.

Late bloomer with apparent potential left to develop .. His body is very strong, with long arms, and so he is a great rebounder with good ability to finish in the paint .. He's left-handed and surprisingly can shoot out to the three point line. Consistency is not there. Disappears for stretches of games .. Doesn't know how to properly use his size and strength advantage in the post.
