Xun-Xiang Tsao gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese T1 League

Xun-Xiang Tsao (181-G-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for TB Herobears and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 25 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for TB Herobears in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Taoyuan L. (#6, 1-10) 114-111. TB Herobears is placed at 3rd position in Taiwanese T1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. TB Herobears will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Tsao had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Xun-Xiang Tsao averages this season 6.2ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Nigerian guard Michael Efevberha (195-G-1984) of Taoyuan L.. Efevberha impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 41 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Taoyuan L. was edged by the higher-ranked TB Herobears (#3, 7-5) 114-111. Taoyuan L. are still at the very bottom. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Taoyuan L. managed to get this year. Efevberha is a newcomer at Taoyuan L. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.5ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 8.2rpg and 3.7apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Taoyuan L.'s star - American Dwight Howard (211-C-1985). Howard scored 29 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Howard's great performance Taoyuan L. lost 111-114 to the higher-ranked TB Herobears (#3, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Taoyuan L. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-10 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Howard has a very solid season. In 5 games in Taiwan he scored 25.2ppg.
