John Bohannon gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese T1 League (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced Jordanian-American John Bohannon (211-C-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Kaohsiung A. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 31-year old center had a double-double of 11 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team beat Taichung Suns (#5, 4-6) 100-92. Kaohsiung A. maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese T1 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kaohsiung A. will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Bohannon as usually he does not deliver so high stats. John Bohannon averages this season 7.1ppg and 8.9rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-F-1989, agency: 011 Sports) of Taichung Suns. Bishop impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Taichung Suns lost that game 92-100 to the higher-ranked Kaohsiung A. (#2, 7-4). Taichung Suns managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Bishop is a newcomer at Taichung Suns and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.1ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 11.2rpg and 4.7apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Taichung Suns' star - Iranian Aaron Geramipoor (213-C-1992). Geramipoor scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Geramipoor's great performance Taichung Suns lost 92-100 to the higher-ranked Kaohsiung A. (#2, 7-4). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Taichung Suns ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Geramipoor could help Taichung Suns to bring them higher in the standings. Geramipoor has a very solid season. In 10 games in Taiwan he scored 15.8ppg. He also has 8.2rpg and FGP: 52.0%.
