Johnson's double-double lands him PLeague+ Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

37-year old power forward Chris Johnson (210-F/C-1985) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Fubon Braves and receives a Hoops Agents PLeague+ Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds, while his team outclassed Steelers (#6, 1-8) with 34-point margin 114-80. Fubon Braves maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese PLeague+. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Fubon Braves will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Fubon Braves' top player in his first season with the team. Louisiana State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Johnson is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.4ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.4rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg,2.5spg,61.7% FGP and 47.5% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Femi Olujobi (206-C/F-1996, agency: Slash Sports) of Steelers. He is Jamaican-American in his first season at Steelers. In the last game Olujobi recorded impressive double-double of 32 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Steelers lost that game 80-114 to the higher-ranked Fubon Braves (#2, 6-4). Steelers are still at the very bottom. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Steelers managed to get this year. Olujobi is a newcomer at Steelers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#4). He also registered 12.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Fubon Braves' star - forward Michael Singletary (198-F-1988). Singletary showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the last round. He was another key player of Fubon Braves, helping his team with a 114-80 easy win against the lower-ranked Steelers (#6, 1-8). Fubon Braves needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Singletary has a great season in Taiwan. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.3ppg (3rd best), rebounds with 11.4rpg (8th best) and assists with 5.4apg (2nd best). Singletary attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
