Kaoshsiung Aquas held off Taichung Suns in the Finals opener. Aquas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 14 assists. The former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Five Aquas players scored in double figures. American guard Anthony Tucker (193-1989, college: MSUM) answered with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 9 assists and Iranian-British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-1992, college: Seton Hall) added 30 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) in the effort for Suns. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
