Gillon's 34-point game gives him Player of the Week award

27-year old point guard John Gillon (183-PG-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Taoyuan L. and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 34 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Taoyuan L. in his team's victory, helping them to crush Tainan GH (#6, 2-12) with 19-point margin 118-99. Taoyuan L. is placed at 5th position in Taiwanese league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Gillon had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. Third place about best performers goes to center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-C-1991, agency: BIG) of league's leader Kaohsiung A.. Kupsas showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Kaohsiung A., leading his team to a 122-113 win against #4 ranked Taichung Suns in a game of the week. Kaohsiung A. confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 4 lost games. Kupsas has a great season in Taiwan. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.8ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 15.4rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.9bpg and FGP: 59.3%.
