Jones' double-double lands him SBL Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old power forward Torren Jones (206-F/C-94) had a very impressive game in the last round for Yulon Luxgen and receives a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Pauian (#5, 1-10) with 21-point margin 98-77. Yulon Luxgen is placed at 3rd position in Taiwanese SBL. Yulon Luxgen is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. Jones just recently signed at Yulon Luxgen, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Torren Jones averages this season 24.0ppg and 12.6rpg.

Second best performed player last round was C.J. Aiken (206-C/F-90) of Pauian. He is American in his first season at Pauian. In the last game Aiken recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Pauian lost that game 71-83 to the higher-ranked Taiwan Beer (#1, 11-1). Pauian are still at the very bottom. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Pauian managed to get this year. Aiken is one of the most experienced players at Pauian and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Doral Moore (216-C-97) of league's leader Taiwan Beer. Moore scored 19 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Taiwan Beer, leading his team to a 79-77 win against #2 ranked Bank of Taiwan in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count Taiwan Beer as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 11 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Moore has a great season in Taiwan. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.3ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 13.3rpg (2nd best). He also has 2.8bpg and FGP: 65.6%.
