Sakakini number one in Taiwan T1 League for round 7

Palestinian Sani Sakakini (204-C/F-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for Taichung Suns, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 35 points and 20 rebounds, while his team edged out Taoyuan L. (#6, 1-8) 119-115. Taichung Suns maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese T1 League. Taichung Suns is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-5 record. In the team's last game Sakakini had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. He turned to be Taichung Suns' top player in his first season with the team. Sani Sakakini has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 26.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 13.2rpg), assists (6th best: 3.7apg) and averages impressive 50.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 30-year old American Cleanthony Early (203-F-91) of league's second-best N.Taipei CTBC. Early had a very good evening with a triple-double of 33 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Of course N.Taipei CTBC cruised to a 116-104 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Tainan GH (#5, 2-6). This victory allowed N.Taipei CTBC to move up to second position in the standings. His team's 6-4 record is not bad at all. Early is a newcomer at N.Taipei CTBC, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Taichung Suns' star - Filipino guard Jordan Heading (188-G-96). Heading got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for ten rebounds and six assists. He was another key player of Taichung Suns, helping his team with a 119-115 win against slightly lower-ranked Taoyuan L. (#6, 1-8). The chances of Taichung Suns ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Heading could help Taichung Suns to bring them higher in the standings. Heading has a great season in Taiwan. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (9th best).
