Ban number one in Taiwanese SBL for round 3

Forward Ba Ban (203-F-97) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Yulon Luxgen, receiving a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 29 points and 24 rebounds, while his team beat Pauian (#5, 0-6), the league's bottom-ranked team 80-66. Yulon Luxgen maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese SBL. Yulon Luxgen is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Ban had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Yulon Luxgen and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Ba Ban averages just after two games 26.5ppg and 18.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 24-year old American Doral Moore (216-C-97) of league's leader Taiwan Beer. Moore had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Taiwan Beer lost that game 64-75 to Bank of Taiwan (5-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Moore is a newcomer at Taiwan Beer, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.6ppg (#6). He also registered 12.1 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Jalen Robinson (206-F/C-93) of Jeoutai (#3). Robinson scored 27 points and grabbed twenty rebounds (!!!). Despite Robinson's great performance Jeoutai lost 79-83 to #1 ranked Taiwan Beer. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Jeoutai needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Robinson has a great season in Taiwan. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.0ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 17.3rpg (#1 in league).
