Leopards land Troy Williams, ex Besiktas

Taoyuan Leopards (T1 League) tabbed 27-year old American 201cm small forward Troy Williams (college: Indiana). Williams played most recently at Besiktas in Turkish BSL league.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro in Italian Serie A where in 8 games he averaged impressive 16.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.9spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Williams has played previously professionally in NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets, NY Knicks, Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Iowa Wolves and Stockton Kings).
He was voted to All-Big Ten 3rd Team back in 2016 at his college time.
Williams attended Indiana University until 2016 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
