Ramon Galloway gets MVP of the Week award for Taiwanese SBL

Experienced American Ramon Galloway (190-G-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Taiwan Beer and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents SBL Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 30-year old guard had a double-double of 36 points and twenty rebounds, while his team beat Yulon Luxgen (#3, 1-1) 78-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Taiwan Beer to jump to the first place in the Taiwanese SBL. The season is still on an early stage, but Taiwan Beer already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Galloway turned to be Taiwan Beer's top player in his first season with the team. La Salle University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Galloway is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.7ppg. Galloway is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.3rpg) and assists (9th best: 4.0apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-F/C-93) of second-ranked Jeoutai. Robinson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Jeoutai cruised to a 81-71 relatively comfortable win over Pauian (0-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Robinson is a newcomer at Jeoutai and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.0ppg (#3). He also registered 17.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Taiwan Beer's star - American Doral Moore (216-C-97). Moore scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was another key player of Taiwan Beer, helping his team with a 92-68 easy win against #4 ranked Bank of Taiwan in a game of the week. Taiwan Beer started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Moore turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Moore has a great season in Taiwan. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.3ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 12.3rpg (2nd best).
