Taiwan Beer (SBL) inked 30-year old American 190cm guard Ramon Galloway (college: La Salle). Galloway joins another USA player Doral Moore who is already in the roster.
He played last summer at Metros in LNB league in Dominican Republic. He managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 8 LNB games he averaged impressive 19.5ppg, 5.9rpg and 3.4apg. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Santiago League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Finals MVP. Galloway also played for Bameso (TBS) in Dominican Rep. league where in 7 games he had very remarkable stats: 21.9ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic Santiago League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Finals MVP.
Galloway has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He is a very experienced player. Galloway has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to twelve different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bosnia, Germany (Skyliners), Italy (Varese and Omegna), Lebanon (Al Riyadi and Anibal), Mexico (Dorados and Mantarrayas), Qatar (Al Sadd), Turkey (TED Ankara), NBA (Orlando Magic), Venezuela (Cocodrilos), Egypt (Al Ettehad), Dominican Republic (Enriquillo, Pueblo Nuevo and Leones) and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks).
Galloway attended La Salle University until 2013 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
Galloway's game is described as: Ramon gives us talent, athleticism and emotional effort that elevates our team. He is outstanding as a defender and scorer. His area of improvement should come in decision-making and a better assist to turnover ratio.
