Irvin's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award- April 19, 2021
He had a double-double of 30 points and 16 rebounds, while his team edged out Jutai Techn. (#4, 12-25) 80-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bank of Taiwan maintains the 3rd position in Taiwanese league. Bank of Taiwan is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 16-21 record. Irvin turned to be Bank of Taiwan's top player in his first season with the team. University of Michigan graduate has very impressive stats this year. Irvin is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.6ppg) and rebounds (6th best: 9.1rpg). Second best performed player last round was Dan Qiao (200-C-92) of Pauian. He is a center in his first season at Pauian. In the last game Qiao recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 19 rebounds. It was enough for Pauian to edge the higher-ranked Taiwan Beer (#1, 30-7) by 5 points 89-84. Despite this victory they still are dead at the bottom. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-26 record. Qiao is a newcomer at Pauian and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.6ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 16.3rpg and 4.4apg. Third place about best performers goes to swingman Jordan Caroline (201-G/F-96) of Jutai Techn. (#4). Caroline showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Jutai Techn., leading his team to a 83-67 easy win against #1 ranked Taiwan Beer in a game of the week. The chances of Jutai Techn. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 25 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Caroline could try to bring Jutai Techn.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Caroline has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 27.8ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 15.5rpg (2nd best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
