Caroline number one in Taiwan for round 18 (by Hoops Agents)- April 6, 2021
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 40 points and 22 rebounds, while his team outclassed Taiwan Beer (#1, 27-5) with 26-point margin 91-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Jutai Techn. maintains the 4th position in Taiwanese SBL. Jutai Techn. is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 10-22 record. In the team's last game Caroline had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He just recently signed at Jutai Techn., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former The University of Nevada star has very solid stats this year. Caroline is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.8ppg. Caroline is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 16.2rpg) and averages impressive 50.8% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Dan Qiao (200-C-92) of Pauian. Qiao had a very good evening with a double-double of 20 points and 26 rebounds. Bad luck as Pauian lost that game 65-76 to slightly higher-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#3, 14-19). Pauian are still at the very bottom. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Pauian managed to get this year. Qiao is a newcomer at Pauian, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 16.2rpg and 4.1apg. Third on the list of top players last round was international center Zong-Rong Hsieh (200-C-95) of Bank of Taiwan (#3). Hsieh scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Bank of Taiwan, leading his team to a 76-65 win against slightly lower-ranked Pauian (#5, 8-25). The chances of Bank of Taiwan ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 19 games, recording just fourteen victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Hsieh could help Bank of Taiwan to bring them higher in the standings. Hsieh has a great season in Taiwan. After 30 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.4ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 8.6rpg (7th best). Other top performing players last week: 4. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
