29-year old forward Rakeem Christmas (206-F-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Yulon Luxgen and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 14 points and 26 rebounds, while his team beat Taiwan Beer (#1, 20-1) 76-68. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yulon Luxgen maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen will need more victories to improve their 15-8 record. Christmas turned to be Yulon Luxgen's top player in his first season with the team. Syracuse University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Christmas is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.2ppg), rebounds (4th best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 51.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Dan Qiao (200-C-92) of Pauian. He is a center in his first season at Pauian. In the last game Qiao recorded impressive double-double of 20 points and 24 rebounds. Bad luck as Pauian was edged by slightly higher-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#3, 8-14) 83-80. Pauian are still at the very bottom. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Pauian managed to get this year. Qiao is a newcomer at Pauian and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.7ppg (#4). His other stats are also decent: 15.8rpg and 4.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward JD Miller (203-F-96) of league's leader Taiwan Beer. Miller showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, eighteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Miller's great performance Taiwan Beer lost 68-76 to #2 ranked Yulon Luxgen. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. That was shocking loss for Taiwan Beer and their fans. Hopefully so far almost perfect season will not turn around. They still have impressive 20-1 record in the league holding top position in the standings. Miller plays for a very strong team and Taiwan Beer has many quality players. So achieving that high stats is even more impressive. Miller has a great season in Taiwan. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.2ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 12.3rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.7bpg and FGP: 53.3%.
