Miller number one in Taiwan for round 9 (by Interperformances)- January 25, 2021
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Jutai Techn. (#4, 6-12) 74-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Taiwan Beer to consolidate first place in the Taiwanese SBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Taiwan Beer keeps a perfect 18-0 record. In the team's last game Miller had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Taiwan Beer's top player in his first season with the team. Former Texas Christian University star has very solid stats this year. Miller is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.9ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 12.5rpg) and averages impressive 1.6bpg and 54.6% FGP. The second best player in last round's games was 29-year old U.S. Virgin Islands Rakeem Christmas (206-F-91) of league's second-best Yulon Luxgen. Christmas had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Yulon Luxgen to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Pauian (#5, 4-15) 105-82. Yulon Luxgen's second position in the standings has not changed. His team's 12-7 record is not bad at all. Christmas is a newcomer at Yulon Luxgen, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.9ppg (#3). He also registered 10.6 boards per game. Third on the list of top players last round was forward Lan-Deng Bu (200-F-93) of Jutai Techn. (#4). Bu showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. Despite Bu's great performance Jutai Techn. lost 65-74 to #1 ranked Taiwan Beer. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Jutai Techn. not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 12 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Bu could try to bring Jutai Techn.'s a little bit higher in the standings. Bu has individually a great season in Taiwan. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.1ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 15.3rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.2spg, 2.2bpg and FGP: 50.9%. Other top performing players last week: 4. Cheng-Ju Lu (194-F-86) of Yulon Luxgen - 30 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists 5. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
