The 24-year old playmaker had a double-double of 30 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out Taiwan Beer (#1, 11-5) 76-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Yulon Luxgen maintains the 2nd position in Taiwanese SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Yulon Luxgen will need more victories to improve their 9-7 record. In the team's last game Keene had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Yulon Luxgen's top player in his first season with the team. Central Michigan University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Keene is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.6ppg), rebounds (9th best: 6.4rpg), assists (2nd best: 5.8apg) and averages solid 55.6% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American guard Matt Jones (196-G-94) of Bank of Taiwan. Jones impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds. It was enough for Bank of Taiwan to edge slightly higher-ranked Yulon Luxgen (9-7) by 4 points 92-88. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Bank of Taiwan consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 9-7 record is not bad at all. Jones is a newcomer at Bank of Taiwan and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.4ppg (#5). He also registered 6.1 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was another Yulon Luxgen's star - Lei Sai (86). Sai scored 11 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Yulon Luxgen, helping his team with a 76-74 win against #1 ranked Taiwan Beer. Yulon Luxgen needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 7 lost games.
