Daniel Orton

Karesi Spor (TBL) tabbed 28-year old American forward Daniel Orton (208-116kg-90, college: Kentucky). He started the season at Fubon Braves in Taiwanese SBL league. In four games he averaged 9.3ppg, 12.5rpg, 4.5apg and 1.8spg this season. Orton ended the last season at Champville (LBL) in Lebanese league where in 6 games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.7bpg. But the most of that year he spent at Aishin Sea Horses (B League) in Japanese league. In 37 games he recorded 11.8ppg, 6.8rpg and 2.1apg.
In 2010 Orton was drafted by Orkando Magic (NBA) in first round (29th overall). The former University of Kentucky standoutis in his ninth season in pro basketball.
Orton won NBA Northwest Division championship title in 2013.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Orton experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Orton has played previously professionally in China (Hunan), Greece (Kymis), Mexico (Fuerza Regia), Philippines (Hotshots), Puerto Rico (Leones), NBA (Washington Wizards), NBA G League (Maine Red Claws and Grand Rapids Drive), Thailand (Hitech) and Lebanon (Mayrouba).
Let's have closer look into His outlook: (by Borko Popic for in 2010)
An intriguing big with a next level body and an extremely long wingspan He has a wide and developed frame and has the potential to add further mass A deceptive athlete, he gets off the ground well and sneaks up on people thanks to his length Physically, he has all the tools to be an inside force in the future. Very careless with the ball, he makes poor decisions and throws it away very frequently He tries to make passes that have no chance of finding the target
