There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in SBL. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most exciting game of round 17 in the SBL ended with only three-point defeat of second-ranked Taiwan Beer (21-13) to first ranked Fubon Braves (23-12) 76-73 in the game for the first place. Fubon Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fubon Braves made 7 blocks. American forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) stepped up and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) chipped in 7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 23-12 record. Taiwan Beer at the other side keeps the second position with 13 games lost. Fubon Braves are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Taiwan Beer will play against KKL (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

American swingman Orlando Johnson (196-89, college: UCSB) nailed a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists for the winning side and Kyle Meyer accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds. American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for KKL in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains third place with 19-16 record having four points less than leader Fubon Braves. KKL lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fourth position with 16 games lost. Pauian will play against league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KKL will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
SBL top team - Fubon Braves (23-12) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Dacin Tigers (16-18) 93-66. The best player for the winners was Charles Garcia who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. OJ Mayo produced 27 points and 8 reboundsfor Fubon Braves. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Fubon Braves. They maintain first place with 23-12 record. Loser Dacin Tigers keep the fifth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Yulon Luxgen. Fubon Braves will meet bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Dacin Tigers will play against Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Very significant was Pauian's (#3, 19-16) victory against their close opponent KKL (17-16) 97-52. Pauian forced 21 KKL turnovers. American power forward Joseph Taylor (205-85, college: Wyoming) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists and international guard Bo-Sheng Zhang (185-87) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bank of Taiwan.
