ANGEL NUNEZ

American-Dominican Rep. Angel Nunez (203-F-91) had a very impressive game in the last round for Bank of Taiwan and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team crushed KKL (#3, 17-14) with 17-point margin 90-73. Bank of Taiwan maintains the 7th position in Taiwanese SBL. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Bank of Taiwan have already lost 24 games and recorded just eight victories. In the team's last game Nunez had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He just recently signed at Bank of Taiwan, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Angel Nunez averages this season 19.7ppg and 9.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old American center Anthony McClain (211-C-88) of Dacin Tigers. McClain impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Dacin Tigers lost that game 83-88 to slightly higher-ranked Pauian (#4, 17-15). Dacin Tigers is still second from the bottom in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 15-16 record. McClain is a newcomer at Dacin Tigers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Lithuanian Edvinas Seskus (196-G/F-95) of top-ranked Taiwan Beer. Seskus scored 27 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Seskus' great performance Taiwan Beer lost 80-85 to the lower-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#7, 8-24). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Taiwan Beer needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 20 victories and 12 lost games. Seskus has a very solid season. In 32 games in Taiwan he scored 16.0ppg. He also has 5.7rpg, 3.9apg and FGP: 60.2%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Yu-Jui Chen (185-G-95) of Bank of Taiwan - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Tony Mitchell (203-F-92) of Fubon Braves - 15 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Sani Sakakini (204-C-88) of Yulon Luxgen - 18 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Kyle Meyer (208-C-93) of Pauian - 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Orlando Johnson (196-G/F-89) of Pauian - 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Zoran Vrkic (203-F-87) of KKL - 23 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Igor Zaytsev (210-C/F-89) of Taiwan Beer - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
