SIM BHULLAR

Indian-Canadian Sim Bhullar (226-C-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Dacin Tigers and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 25-year old center had a double-double of 23 points and twenty three rebounds, while his team beat Fubon Braves (#5, 12-13) 87-82. Dacin Tigers is placed at 3rd position in Taiwanese SBL. Dacin Tigers is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-12 record. Bhullar turned to be Dacin Tigers' top player in his first season with the team. New Mexico State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bhullar is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.4ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 16.2rpg) and averages solid 2.4bpg and 68.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old Costa Rican forward Charles Garcia (208-F-88) of Bank of Taiwan. Garcia impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 31 rebounds. Bad luck as Bank of Taiwan lost that game 66-73 to the higher-ranked Pauian (#1, 16-10). Bank of Taiwan managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-15 record. Garcia is a newcomer at Bank of Taiwan and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.7ppg (#2). He also registered 14.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American forward Quincy Davis (206-F/C-83) of top-ranked Pauian. Davis scored 19 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Pauian, leading his team to a 73-66 win against the lower-ranked Bank of Taiwan (#6, 10-15). Pauian confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 10 lost games. Davis has a great season in Taiwan. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 11.4rpg (6th best). He also has 2.3bpg and FGP: 53.3%. Quincy Davis has also Taiwanese passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

4. Walter Sharpe (206-F/C-86) of Taiwan Beer - 35 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Peter Ramos (222-C-85) of KKL - 32 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
