The Regular Season in SBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

An exciting game was when second ranked Second ranked Yulon Luxgen faced 3rd ranked KKL. Yulon Luxgen (15-9) defeated KKL (13-13) 75-69. International Po-Chen Chou (196-90) fired 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican center Peter Ramos (222-85) produced a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains second position with 15-9 record behind leader Pauian. KKL at the other side dropped to the fourth place with 13 games lost. Yulon Luxgen are looking forward to face Fubon Braves (#5) in the next round. KKL will play against the league's leader Pauian and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.

Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 4 blocks. Douglas Creighton contributed with 20 points for the winners. Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 31 rebounds for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pauian (16-9) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. Pauian will play against KKL (#4) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Dacin Tigers in Taipei and hopes to get back on the winning track.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. Sim Bhullar had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Walter Sharpe responded with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Loser Taiwan Beer stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet Bank of Taiwan (#6) in the next round. Taiwan Beer will play against Fubon Braves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 22 Fubon Braves were defeated by Dacin Tigers 87-82.



Taiwan Beer - Dacin Tigers 81-88

The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Dacin Tigers (14-12) played at the court of 7th ranked Taiwan Beer (9-17). Dacin Tigers managed to secure a 7-point victory 88-81 on Friday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Taiwan Beer. They outrebounded Taiwan Beer 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Jhen Huang (190-90) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Dacin Tigers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and international point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-91) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Loser Taiwan Beer stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet Bank of Taiwan (#6) in the next round. Taiwan Beer will play against Fubon Braves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Fubon Braves' (11-13) loss to fourth ranked Dacin Tigers (14-12) 82-87 on Thursday. Dacin Tigers made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: N.Mexico St.) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Yi-Jie Su (182-87) chipped in 20 points and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and American center Garret Siler (213-86, college: Augusta) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fubon Braves' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Fubon Braves lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Dacin Tigers will meet Bank of Taiwan (#6) in the next round. Fubon Braves will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Angel Nunez (203-F-91) had a very impressive game in the last round for Bank of Taiwan and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
