It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in SBL, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders.

The game had a very big importance for sixth-ranked Pauian as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Pauian smashed 6th ranked Yulon Luxgen at home 104-83. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Pauian outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 42-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Pauian looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pauian made 7 blocks. International power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Shi-Jin Yao (187-90) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) produced 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Dacin Tigers and Fubon Braves. Yulon Luxgen at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Pauian will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Fubon Braves on the road.

Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 3-2 record, which they share with Pauian and Fubon Braves. Dacin Tigers will play against KKL (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Fubon Braves will play against the league's leader Pauian (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Fubon Braves keep a position of league leader, which they share with Dacin Tigers and Pauian. Loser Taiwan Beer stay at the bottom place with four games lost. Fubon Braves will meet league's leader Pauian in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiwan Beer will play against the league's second-placed Dacin Tigers (#2) in Taipei and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 4 Bank of Taiwan was defeated by Yulon Luxgen 91-75.

Fubon Braves - Dacin Tigers 65-74

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (3-3) was defeated by sixth ranked Yulon Luxgen (3-3) 91-75 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of center Yi-Bin Wu (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) who added 10 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. At the losing side Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 14 rebounds and guard Po-Sheng Po-Sheng (185-87) scored 9 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bank of Taiwan will play against KKL (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
