New Taipei CTBC claimed T1 League title. They knocked down Tainan Ghosthawks in Game 4 to sweep the Finals. N.Taipei CTBC dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks' 46. N.Taipei CTBC forced 25 GhostHawks turnovers. Strangely GhostHawks outrebounded N.Taipei CTBC 47-33 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Edgaras Zelionis (207-1989, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Croatian center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for GhostHawks. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Yulon Luxgen clinched SBL title. They outgunned Bank of Taiwan in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to conquer the 6th league title in team's history. Yulon Luxgen took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bank of Taiwan won third quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Yi-En Lin (185-1996) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Bamba Sarr (200-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Chia-He Chang (188-1996) added 20 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Five Yulon Luxgen and four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Bank of Taiwan's coach Guo-wei Chen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
