Lenell Henry joins Al Jalaa

Al Jalaa Aleppo (SBL) has agreed terms with 28-year-old American power forward Lenell Henry (203cm-91kg-1998, college: Alcorn State). He was about to sign at Al Wehdat in the Jordanian Premier League and also had a successful stint with Club Deportivo Valdivia in the Chilean LNB. In 22 Premier League games, he averaged 17.0ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.5apg, 1.1spg, and 1.1bpg this season.

Henry, an experienced player, has had the opportunity to travel to four different continents during his career, playing in seven different countries. He has experienced life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America. Henry has played professionally in Chile, Cyprus (Achilleas Kaimakliou), Georgia (Tbilisi State University and Kavkasia), Greece (Ionikos and Charilaos), Luxembourg (Sparta), and Bolivia (Kinwa).

He played in the final of the Chilean League Transicion in 2025. He was voted to the Latinbasket.com Chilean LNB Transicion All-Defensive Team in 2025.

Henry graduated from Alcorn State in 2022 and is currently in his fourth season as a professional player. He has also played for Prairie View A&M University, Panola College, and Northern Arizona University.
